BACKGROUND / PERSONAL

Councilmember Ahlers grew up in Taos, Mo. and attended St.Francis Xavier grade school. He graduated from Blair Oaks High School and then attended Northeast Missouri State University. He married Jennifer Luebbert Ahlers in 1990, and has called the east side home for 33 years. Together, they have 2 children, Casey and his wife Makana and their first child, Casey Ahlers Jr; and a daughter Sara, and her fiancé Austin Galbraith. Councilmember Ahlers loves sports, the Cardinals, Chiefs, Blues and his alma mater, The Falcons! He is a member at Meadow Lake Country Club and enjoys golfing with friends. He is a member of the Immaculate Conception parish, and the Wardsville Knights of Columbus, and serves as Treasurer for the Cole County Republican Committee.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Councilmember Ahlers worked for JC Industries general contractors then for Central Dairy for the past 31 years, retiring recently from there as Head of Ice Cream.
